Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a process that involves the generation and management of the digital representation and information about a building or built asset.
Currently, there’s a lack of digital product/object library from the real manufacturer and suppliers which resulted in a misrepresentation of data in the BIM model. With accurate and good quality BIM object library, this allows for great integration and collaboration among different built professionals of various disciplines to explore digitally, and can be used throughout from design to construction and even post construction building lifecycle management stage.
In order to support the integrated digital delivery process value chain, this 1-month course aims to develop modeling capability and data management for the industry so that firms could benefits from the intelligence BIM object library by 2019.
