SKILLSFUTURE STUDY AWARD
You will receive a monetary award of S$5,000, which you can use to defray out-of-pocket expenses associated with the course that you will be taking. It can also be used on top of existing Government course fee subsidies. You do not need to serve a bond. Also, you will enjoy additional support in your journey of acquiring and advancing your skills, an enhanced level of employability in an evolving economy and greater opportunities to maximize your potential.
The SkillsFuture Study Award (up to S$5,000 per award) is available to equip Singaporeans with the skills needed to benefit from quality jobs created by our economy. It can be used to defray out-of-pocket expenses associated with the course you will be taking. The SkillsFuture Study Award is only applicable for individual applicant.
As Singapore continues our transition to an innovation-driven economy, new skills and competencies among Singaporeans will be in demand. Jobs are also evolving with new functions and existing ones requiring updated skillsets. The SkillsFuture Study Award encourages Singaporeans to develop and deepen specialist skills needed by future economic growth sectors or in areas of demand.
The SkillsFuture Study Award is for early to mid-career Singaporeans who are committed to developing and deepening their skills in key sectors and have relevant working experience in such sectors.
To apply for the SkillsFuture Study Award, applicant will need to complete two steps:
a) Click on the supported courses appended and enrol in the course you wish to apply for;
b) Submit your application online for SkillsFuture Study Award via HERE. In this webpage, scroll to the bottom of the page:
- click on “Click here to download the application form” button to prepare the application for the Study Award; and
- click on “Submit your completed application form” accordingly.
MID-CAREER ENHANCED SUBSIDY WHO IS IT FOR?
From 1 October 2015, Singaporeans aged 40 and above will receive up to 90% course fee subsidy on selected courses.
